What is a Customer Service Representative?

Our Customer Service Representative performs a variety of benefit functions including:

  • Collection of paperwork, applications, ensuring reports are accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner
  • Entering benefit codes, educating clients, and matching insurance needs with appropriate policies
  • Keep records of benefits plans participation such as insurance plan, personnel transactions, and employee statistics for government reporting

So, what is a Customer Service Representative exactly? Our Customer Service Representative supports our clients be providing answers and resolve employee benefits questions, keep the Human Resources departments aware of when clients will be eligible for open enrollment, and support area personnel as required. Our Customer Service Representative will cover government reporting in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Our Customer Service Representative are masters at multitasking, problem solving, and are math whiz. When our clients contact us, our Customer Service Representative are expected to know the answer and provide a resolution. Our clients rely on and trust their Customer Service Representative because they work together and have a personal relationship with each other.
